It's been about 2 weeks since the ant incident.

While standing in the lounge at work today, a girl I work with was getting ready to leave. When I started to walk down to the floor she yells "OH YEAH!!" and runs after me. This is pretty much how it went down.

Girl: I have something for you... the vending machine people were here today and I told them about your little bug problem.

Me: Did they laugh at me too?

Girl: Yes, but they did leave this for you.

And she reached into her pocket. In my head I was thinking "It had better be a cheque for 6000$, or free therapy sessions for the next year."

It was neither.

It was the one dollar that I spent on the Cheetos.

One dollar.

Repaid in full.
